Involvement while at Auburn



I have been involved in a multitude of organizations in my time at Auburn. I allocated my time to postions that allowed me to grow into the public relations professional I strive to be.


Delta Delta Delta, Phi Theta Chapter
August 2011-May 2015

Public Relations Committee, Sponsor Chairman

  • Developed leadership and organizational skills by planning and executing multiple sorority "bonding" events.
  • Matched each sorority member with one of 70 new members tro serve as a mentor for the Big/Sister Little Sister Program.
  • Plannes, developed and executed all facets including food and beverage menu, flowers, decorations, gifts from local businesses, banners, decorations, of Bid Day festivities for over 300 people.
  • Communicated event plans and delegated responsibilities to a committee of 20 sorority members.

  • Attended weekly meetings that broadened our understanding of public relations.

  • Auburn University Student Alumni Association

    Board of Directors Member

  • Selected by application to organize and lead the Public Relations Committee to encourage SAA Membership on-campus.
  • Recruited local businesses to sponsor the organization and donate membership "freebies" at Freshman Orientation.
  • Auburn Alumni Tailgate hostess on football game-days, ensuring they were comfortable and entertained.

    August 2011- May 2012

    Public Relations Committee

  • Selected by application to develop leadership skills alongside other involved freshman on-campus.
  • Worked with the Student Government Association to provide the Auburn campus with various projects and philanthropies.
  • Through efforts on the public relations committee, my team promoted the philanthropy "Soles 4 Souls" on Auburn's campus, where we conducted beenfit nights and set up stands where we collected thousands of pairs of shoes for the less fortunate.
